Shelley Lazarus, a mom for 15 years, a teacher for 20 and Special Education Coordinator for 8. Embarking on the journey for wholeness, she is discovering the power in being honest, vulnerable and present. Shelley loves her work with RCOA and her private business, Lazarus Learning Services, where she has the privilege of helping children with special needs build on their areas of strength, develop strategies for success and learn skills needed for independence.

An honest look at striving for balance and authenticity in a complex, overworked and confused culture. Building on ideas from contemporary authors, Brene Brown (“The Gifts of Imperfection”) and Katrina Onstand (“The Weekend Effect”), as well as the timeless wisdom of scripture, Shelley Lazarus, will endeavour to break down why we are doing to much, why we lose our ground and how to be deliberate instead of distracted.
