Pauline Bekesza has been a home teacher with Traditional Learning Academy for the past six years. Prior to that she home-schooled her own three children throughout their schooling until they each entered TLA’s DL program in Grade 10. She has her Bachelor’s degrees in Education and Psychology, and her Early Childhood Education and Montessori Teacher’s Diplomas. Pauline has an interest in human growth, behaviour and learning, and has continued to pursue development in these areas in the years since her formal schooling. She works with parents and groups in her area, assisting with a variety of family, parenting and teaching challenges.

This approach flows from the realization that our intelligence and abilities are not static, but able to be developed and strengthened throughout life. In the world of home learning, where you have a sometimes overwhelming flood of competing curriculums, strategies, and philosophies, Growth Mindset is an overarching and relatively simple approach that can be implemented in almost any situation, not only to benefit your children, or students, but also to promote your own development and resilience.
