Strategies for Building Coping Skills in Children with Anxiety
Currently, we are seeing the numbers of children experiencing excessive levels of anxiety on the rise. Recent studies have shown that anxiety disorders affect one in eight children.
When children are overly anxious, it’s natural for parents to seek strategies to fix or stop the anxiety; however the goal should be how to help children learn to manage their emotional responses to their triggers. This workshop will help parents identify triggers in their anxious child and gain practical strategies on how to help their child.
