Meta Modernism

We are in the age of Meta Modernism. This is a relatively new term that describes our children’s desire for certainty and future hope. Many, especially the young, are crying out for a radical renewal of politics, economy and culture based on urgent demands for both equality and environmental harmony. Reason, history, even expertise from people who have valid critiques of the methods and goals of this new utopianism, are being discarded in favour of blind faith and revolutionary fervour. This Keynote will explain this growing movement and its implications for the future.

Saturday May 23rd – 5pm to 6pm
